Wrinkle Creams - Are they for real?

Down here in hot South Beach, Miami, there are many factors that can make us develop wrinkles. Obviously, the sun is a major factor in getting facial wrinkles, and the powerful UV rays of the hot Miami sun are NO JOKE. It's important that people use plenty of spf sunblock when they visit Miami and the beaches. This not only protects from sunburn, but it also prevents wrinkles.

All of a sudden I started seeing advertisements for anti wrinkle creams. They are everywhere. Aventura Mall is home to Sephora, which sells cosmetics and beauty products including wrinkle creams. Take a look online, on any health portal, and you will be sure to see information about wrinkle creams. The question I pose is - do they work?

Well, that depends on what you define as "works." Do they reduce the appearance of wrinkles? Absolutely. Do they eliminate wrinkles? No. Nothing, not even the powerful botox injections, can eliminate wrinkles forever. I'm sure you have all seen advertisements talking about banishing wrinkles forever, but that is simply marketing hype. The before and after photos you see on online websites certainly real - and you will see a significant wrinkle reduction on the faces of many people. But, to manage expectations, wrinkle creams do not eliminate wrinkles. They will cover them up and make them greatly reduced in appearance for as long as you use them and for a long time afterwards. People that can not afford to use a wrinkle cream every month are recommended to take a month or two off, then use it again.

So what is the best anti wrinkle cream on the market? Well, that depends who you ask.

There are many websites out there that offer their opinions on wrinkle creams, and wrinkle cream review websites seem to be abundant. Look for a site that talks about the said cream in-depth, and provides analysis on the ingredients. If you do this, you will be way ahead of the game. Also, loook for consumer reviews for any wrinkle creams that you find intriguing.

And remember, it is never too soon to start thinking about wrinkle prevention.
